I discovered this nifty little tool through Jonathan’s blog. You can copy and paste text into it and it turns the text into what you see above (you can alter the style, font and colour to suit your taste). Obviously, the more a word recurs, the bigger it appears.
I went to the website of my church(Cession), and copied all the text in the “About” section. Obviously this is the section where we tell the world what is important to us. I pasted that text into the whizbang, and the result is above, for your perusal.
Hey that’s cool! Thought love, hope and faith might’ve got a bigger mention though.
Awesome! Thats a nice trick. It got me so inspired I did my own version but only using the vision, mission and values – the history section skews it away from the things we say about ourselves. I think you’ll agree it captures the essence of cession|community a little more clearly. I couldn’t get my picture to show up nice and big like yours but then you only need to see the top 5 words I suppose to get the picture!
I wouldn’t mind posting it on the site come to think of it…
Yeah it took me ages to get it to post that size. In the end I did a screengrab and cropped it to the right size, then saved it as a jpeg.
But it’s ok… if you just click on theo ne on your blog it takes you to the full version anyway.
Thats pretty awesome
